Your Future in Your Hands

At KISS we train you to become a driving instructor first and pass tests second.  A driving instructor who can coach and teach well will pass the Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 tests more easily . Many people try to train to pass the tests and never qualify simply because they are not trained properly.

Put simply, to sustain a healthy living in good times or bad you need to gain the confidence and recommendations of your learner drivers. Being able to coach someone through the learning process is also a lot less stressfull on both your pupils and you. If they find the experience positive and motivating they are much more likely to refer you to family and friends.

Qualifying Process

Training to become a driving instructor is not rocket science, in fact we keep it simple where others make it complicated.  Although we take longer and deliver ten times more driving instructor training you can be earning and building your business quicker with us than most other adi trainers. We aim to get you earning a living as soon as you have passed your Part 2 practical driving test. To achieve this you simply need to turn up on a weekly basis , train and pass the Part 1 and Part 2 tests.

Unique Training Aids

We have developed a range of simple and effective adi training aids and a structured driving instructor training programme that will build your knowledge and skills.  These are all included in the course fee and WILL deliver everything you need to make sure you qualify as an Approved Driving Instructor.

Part 2 is straightforward in that we train you in-car to a high standard. You simply put into practice what we teach you when you drive. You are in control in that we take roughly 6 – 8 hours to cover ever aspect of driving. Beyond this, we are looking for a combination of your own and our effort to develop your driving skills and pass your practical driving test, often at the first attempt.

The most complex part of your driving instructor training is the Part 3 test of instructional ability and for this you will need no more than a couple of hours of home study to prepare for each subject you need to teach. For the purpose of the Part 3 test there are twelve subject areas to cover and  for teaching learners there are fourteen. In effect, this means 20 to 30 hours of home study over the course of a year or so.
